Music Score for "All Secrets"
Tuesday, October 2, 2007, 08:49 PM
I'm happy to announce that Ralph Zurmühle has granted me permission to use some of his amazing compositions in my movie!

Ralph Zurmühle was born in Zürich (Switzerland) in 1959 and holds a Science of Law degree from the University of Zürich. At the early age of five Ralph discovered his natural talent for the piano and began private lessons. He studied classical music and jazz until the age of twenty. He later collaborated in several jazz-rock groups in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

In 1986 he started composing music for film, theater and multimedia. His most recent projects are L'horitzó (Metrònom, Barcelona, and International Biennial of Contemporary Art, Almería, Spain, 2006) and the documentary Norró (National Spanish TV La2, Spain, 2006).

In 1999 Ralph moved to Catalonia (Spain) where he currently resides in a village at the base of Montserrat. He released 3 CDs composed for piano, and performed numerous solo piano concerts throughout Spain. He also collaborated with several musicians, among them Rosa Zaragoza.
He is presently completing various projects:

* Multimedia project "5OBRES" with Manuel Solà
* Documentary with Pere Herms

You can listen to his music at

Jacek Dukaj
Sunday, December 10, 2006, 01:17 AM -
As I previously mentioned, the story is inspired by a fragment of a bigger novel by Polish writer Jacek Dukaj.

Jacek Dukaj is a well known Polish sci-fi writer, author of the short story "The Cathedral", which was made into animation by Tomasz Baginski in 2002. The animation became known worldwide after receiving many awards including Oscar nomination.

However Jacek Dukaj's work hasn't been published yet outside Poland, so he remains unknown for the UK readers. All secrets is inspired by a very small fragment of his novel "Czarne Oceany", which you can find on Jacek's official website.

I'd like to thank Jacek for his support.

35mm depth of field
Thursday, December 7, 2006, 05:26 PM -
All secrets will be filmed on a HD digital camcorder, but we are going to use M2 Cinelens adapter from Redrock Microsystems LLC. For the last few months I've been gathering 35mm lenses and now I'm ready to go.

M2 lens adapter is the best choice if you want a proffesional cinematic look of your digital footage. Check out the Redrock Website
